Since last 04- 7- 2008 I’ve began illustrating again the pages for the book of chronicles on the first sequence of the story entitled: The violin.
I love… love… love drawing the character and listening to John William’s composition from Schindler’s list.

Since its summer time and finals are closing in here’s  another poster I’ve made for the de-constructed graphic  novel using the battle scene:

The Violin:

This is part of the illustration from the violin- the first chapter of the story in The Book of Chronicles. The colors are not yet final and so are the layered details.

Here are some of the fine lads that’ll be popping out in the story:

Today I’ve made some title banners that’s originally intended this site and for a power point presentation. But I thought it will also look good on sticker papers. So I’ll print somewhere around 10 pieces of this (^^,)

More or less this is what the upcoming book will look like:  A form of reading material that lingers between comics and novels.

Below is my favorite character the violinist, originally she’s the last character to be added but throughout the writing process she ended up being on the first sequence of the story.

The challenge is the layout, I’m always trying to keep in mind its something that lingers between the graphic novel and a book.

I love this battle scene, not that I’m a war freak, but the colors and panels and words combined its something.
